The fashion story Golden Autumn in Ontario, created by our team in the heart of Canada’s autumn landscape, was published in the legendary fashion publication Harper’s Bazaar.
This story explores the harmony between fashion, humanity, and Canada’s wildlife. Bringing this idea to life as a cohesive photographic series required two days of shooting, careful preparation, and a willingness to make important creative decisions throughout the process.
Every look was part of the overall concept. We carefully selected the clothing and details and considered the makeup, hair, props, and overall atmosphere to bring everything together into one cohesive visual story.
The central idea of the project came to life through the model’s encounter with Canadian wildlife—including deer, bison, and goats. Even with careful preparation, it was impossible to predict their movements or how each interaction would unfold in front of the camera. The shoot therefore required the entire team to remain attentive, flexible, and willing to work with the natural flow of each moment.
To give our idea even greater visual expression, we designed and created a mirrored look specifically for this project. It offered a more subtle and symbolic interpretation of the unity between humanity and the natural world.
Ultimately, every detail came together in a vivid and expressive fashion story in which humanity, fashion, and wildlife became part of one visual world.
The publication of Golden Autumn in Ontario in Harper’s Bazaar was an important professional milestone for me and a beautiful conclusion to a story created by our entire team.
